Walla Al Alawi is a top luxury womenswear designer based in the Kingdom of Bahrain and is the creative force behind the fashion label W by Walla. Having a love and appreciation for fashion from a young age, she earned a degree in fashion design and marketing from London, before moving back to Bahrain to launch her fashion career.

Walla has built up a brand name in the high-end fashion industry of the Middle East and is recognized as one of the first designers in the Gulf to recreate the abaya into an elegant and sophisticated fashion statement. Her feminine, fanciful touches have become the hallmark of every dress she designs and she seeks to design innovative works of art that showcase the true beauty of each person. .

Walla presented her first collection at the Dubai Fashion Week during the Summer 2003 season. She launched her demi-couture label, W By Walla, during the 2012 Miami Beach International Fashion Week, where she won the International Rising Star Award.
